PTM provides the opportunity for urban ministry training through its LEAP Year Program where young adults walk alongside students and their families in order to help PTM students discover and live their God-inspired dreams, develop a love for learning, and build joy-filled friendships that glorify Christ Jesus. PTM has invested in 25 young adults since 2014 as they work full time at PTM. LEAPers, as we call them, are intentionally pursuing a future in urban ministry, fundraising, education, non-profit leadership, or other fields.
Job Responsibilities
Each LEAPer is interviewed based on their experience and interest in their fellowship. Consequently, each LEAPer has a job description written specifically for him or her. For example, one LEAPer might work full time for development and another LEAPer might work full time as an afterschool site leader and a project manager.
Qualifications
LEAPers must be 18-28 years of age and be able to meet their job description and program requirements, such as living in PTM housing.
