Job Summary

The outreach coordinator is responsible for day-to-day outreach operations for Small World Yoga including, but not limited to, onboarding and scheduling yoga teachers with community partner locations, developing and building relationships with community partners, creating and refining processes to ensure all teacher and partner information is accurate and up to date and working closely with a small team who manages outreach.

This is currently an independent contractor position for 20-30 hours per week with potential to grow into full-time (40 hours) quickly.

Job Responsibilities

  • Growth and development of outreach programs and instructors
  • Support other outreach managers in creating processes for managing partners and teachers
  • Flexibility to work both in-person and remotely
  • Revise teacher handbook + community partner agreements as needed
  • Communicate with potential new partners via email and phone
  • Provide estimates for new partner services
  • Manage current contracts and new agreements with community partners
  • Coordinate site visits to outreach partner locations
  • Manage a spreadsheet of partner invoices and records of classes provided
  • Foster teacher communication via Slack
  • Input schedules in MindBody Online software
  • Manage team of 100+ yoga instructors, including orientation and offboarding
  • Database management (Kintone) – storing data for locations, teachers, attendance
  • Communicate with web manager on any new/old teacher updates for website

Qualifications

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Self-starter, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple projects at once
  • Works well independently and as a part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn, grow in the role and incorporate feedback
  • 3+ years of professional experience. Background in a nonprofit organization, small business/startup is a plus.
  • Previous management experience is not required. Ideal candidate is a quick-learner, interested in nonprofit work and has strong time management skills, as well as excellent communication skills and a love for working with people.
  • Preferred working knowledge or willingness to learn: Google Drive, Microsoft Word/Excel, Slack, MindBody, Kintone, Canva and Zoom
