Job Summary
The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee is looking for a Financial Administrative Assistant who desires to work in a fast-paced, exciting, and growing organization. We are seeking an exceptionally talented, dependable, customer-obsessed, and self-motivated Financial Assistant to work in our Finance Department. Job Responsibilities
- Provide general office management
- Research and process contributions
- Responsible for coding of credit cards and ACH receipts
- Perform organizational banking activities
- Process in-kind and auction contribution letters
- Generate gift acknowledgement cards
- Remote deposits and cash deposits when needed
- Update database
- Prepare, disseminate and follow-up on correspondences and tax receipts
- Code contributions, build profiles
- Scan, file, and archive documents
- Process daily mail
- Cross-train in Finance areas and other duties as assigned
- Assist in preparation of 1099s
Qualifications
- General accounting knowledge and a passion for nonprofit work
- Associate degree or equivalent experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Ability to work collaboratively with excellent customer service skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to details and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communications
- Positive attitude, reliable and dependable
- Ability to learn complex software and systems
