Job Summary

- Knowledge of systems of care/wraparound principles/practices.

- Excellent collaboration, customer service, and leadership skills.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of current auto insurance.
Job Responsibilities
Duties & Responsibilities/Principal Activities:
- Provide face-to-face direct service hours to families inclusive of individual and/or family therapy, assistance with the development of positive parenting, safety planning, basic life skills and parenting a child/youth with special needs.
- Ensure that counseling/therapy is delivered in a manner consistent with HFW plans and coordinated activities.
- Complete clinical assessment(s), as needed.
- Provide oversight of clinical records.
- Develop the crisis and safety plan in collaboration with the family and care coordinator.
- Provide for crisis stabilization and be available for crisis calls.
- Provide therapeutic intervention utilizing an evidence-based practice.
- Participate in and provide clinical consultation to the family team.
- Translate clinical jargon for family and family team.
- Provide case consultation to the care coordinator.
- Provide/Participate in team-based supervision.
- Ensure client information is secured consistent with HIPAA requirements.
- Engage Youth Engagement Specialist to provide skills building for the child/youth as appropriate.
- Attend and participate in Council on Children’s Mental Health (CCMH) meetings and workgroups.
- Participate and engage in the local SOCAT-N team meetings.
- Provide pertinent referrals and topics for training to the SOCAT TA Center to community partners and stakeholders as requested.
- Maintain and build trusted relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Project a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications: Master’s Degree in counseling/therapy or closely related field is required. Licensure preferred. Preference given to parents/caregivers or family members of children with SED. Non-profit organization experience and work history within child serving systems preferred. Experience working with children/youth and families with significant behavioral health needs. Ability to provide a strength-based, client-centered approach to service delivery.
