Job Summary

Job Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Assist clients in implementation of their audio and video needs.
2. Supervises crew for assigned maintenance or events.
3. Provides event related technical support to event technical director and supervisor.
4. Ensures safety of department specific equipment and all personnel.
5. Assist with equipment and system installation
6. Maintain all audio and video technical equipment
The above listed duties are not all inclusive. This position is expected to perform other work-related duties as assigned even though they may not be considered primary duties.
Qualifications
Skills and Knowledge:
Required:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 4 to 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
College degree highly recommended.
In-depth knowledge of theatrical systems & equipment specifically audio and video Possess managerial and communication abilities for interpersonal relationships with clients, various depts., full and part –time technical staff members
Experience with Audio software (Pro-Tools, Smaart, Q-Lab, Dante, Compass) and Network Audio Signals.
Highly Preferred:
Some experience with Microsoft Word & Excel.
Ability to work well in a group.
Ability to problem solve and remain calm in stressful situations.
Preferred:
Bilingual, First Aid/CPR certified, forklift certified
Software and Services Used:
Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), ADP, Concur and Venue Ops.
Frequent Functions and Work Conditions
Frequent Functions:
Pushing/pulling.
Ascending and Descending flights of stairs and ladders.
Face to face contact.
Working in the dark with loud noises and flashing lights.
Basic math skills. Analysis, problem solving/decision making. Lifting and moving equipment up to 50 lbs.
Occasional Functions:
Bending and Stooping.
Ability to work outside in all weather conditions including hot and cold temperatures.
Working at a high elevation.
