Job Summary
Are you a college student home for the summer with an interest in history? If so, Belmont Mansion is hiring historical interpreters for our busy summer season.
Historical Interpreters serve as the public face of the museum. Their duties include greeting and checking in guests; providing historical interpretation through informal conversations as well as fully guided tours; and helping customers in our museum shop. They also occasionally answer the phone and assist with seasonal special events.
Job Responsibilities
Ideal applicants should have strong public speaking and interpersonal skills; experience in customer service; the ability to remain positive, respectful, and flexible in a fast-paced environment; and the ability to climb stairs and stand for long periods of time.
Qualifications
High School Degree Preferred

Pay rate is $15 an hour.
