Job Summary

Blakeford Senior Life is an organization that provides exemplary care services to seniors who live in their own homes and on our beautiful 10-acre campus. We are seeking an Outreach Specialist who will serve as a marketing representative for Blakeford’s assisted living, memory care, and home care program in and around Davidson and Williamson County.
The Outreach Specialist must be an enthusiastic communicator about Blakeford Assisted Living and Home Care Services to the community, work to develop relationships and partnerships with local market referral sources such as Independent Living communities, home health agencies, and other professionals to generate clients and residents for Blakeford’s Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Home Care businesses.
Job Responsibilities
- Generates referrals through the marketing of Home Care, Assisted Living, and Memory Care services.
- Promotes and represents Blakeford At Home on the Blakeford at Green Hills campus.
- Develops key relationships and partnerships with local market referral sources such as physician practices, home health agencies, and other providers of senior living care and housing.
- Develops strategic accounts that increase home care hours and assisted living referrals through direct sales efforts.
- Participates in external marketing events to promote all of Blakeford at Home’s services; participates in exhibits and healthcare events.
- Provides regular reports of activity to supervisor and relevant team members.
- Utilizes technology and software effectively for documentation and team communication.
- Maintains appropriate records of work and participates in performance improvement efforts.
- Attend employee in-service sessions as required.
- Interacts with customers and contacts in a professional and courteous manner that promotes positive customer relations and a positive image of Blakeford.
- Interacts with supervisors, managers, and all co-workers in a manner that encourages harmonious working relationships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in community outreach, marketing, or a related field.
- Demonstrated customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data and information; must be organized and detailed in the collection, review, and analysis of data and information.
- Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate the achievement of goals, objectives, and initiatives
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent public speaking skills such as facilitating workshops, training, and/or presentations.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and the public.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
