Job Summary
Christian Community Services Inc (CCSI) is a 501c3 non-profit organization that is seeking a dynamic individual to serve as Executive Director. CCSI’s mission is to empower underserved families, through caring relationships, to achieve a legacy of social, spiritual, and economic self-sufficiency. CCSI provides the resources, tools, and encouragement to move from government dependency to self-sufficiency through its financial literacy programs. These programs include Mentoring Toward Independence (MTI), Basic Financial Training Workshops, Budget Coaching with participants along with being a sustainable resource for current and past CCSI participants.
Job Responsibilities
This position will report to the Board of Directors and in collaboration with the board will have responsibility for directing the strategic and operational direction of the organization including staff, volunteers, programs, and execution of the organization’s mission. The individual will ensure the ongoing program excellence and lead the development and fundraising efforts for CCSI.
The Executive Director should be thoroughly committed to CCSI’s mission and growth. Candidates should have proven leadership, coaching, budgeting, and relationship management experience.
Qualifications
Experience and other Qualifications Include:
- Advanced degree required (relevant master’s degree preferred)
- 3- 5 years demonstrated experience in advanced leadership/management role. This could include a proven track record of effectively leading and scaling a nonprofit organization with the development and implementation of operational strategies to spur growth.
- Excellence in organizational management. This would include the ability to recruit and coach, supervise staff, manage and develop high-performance teams.
- Competency with technology systems, including use of technology systems to set and achieve strategic goals/objectives, and management of the CCSI budget.
- Unwavering commitment to quality programs and data-driven program evaluation.
- Experience working with a Board of Directors/leadership team with the ability to cultivate existing and new board member relationships.
- Ability to source and write grants to further the success of CCSI.
- Strong marketing and public relations experience along with the ability to engage a wide range of individual donors, institutions, and cultures to facilitate fundraising.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; a persuasive and passionate communicator.
- Excellent interpersonal and multidisciplinary project skills.
- Action-oriented, adaptable, with an innovative approach to business planning. Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people.
