Job Summary

East Nashville Wellness Center is looking for a well-qualified board member with expertise in non-profit fundraising to join our team. Our mission is to restore the wellness of Nashvillians through improving mental health, curbing addiction, and helping to find the music again. We provide mental health and substance use services to those in need.

We are a new non-profit that has seen rapid growth since we incorporated in February 2021. In our first full year of operations we completed over 1,600 patient visits, brought on 4 staff members, prevented 15 hospitalizations, and so much more. We are extremely proud of our accomplishments to date. However, we are in the process of transitioning into our next phase of activity, and thus are seeking additional team members.

Our new board member would assist us in growing the organization from our current startup phase to long term stability. We are looking for somebody with experience working with growing non-profits. Particularly somebody with fundraising expertise and grant writing experience.

Job Responsibilities

Our board meets monthly at present, responsibilities would include attending board meetings as able and contributing to the organization.

Qualifications

We would ideally love to work with someone who has experience with non-profits and fundraising in particular.
