About NAHT
Nashville Anti-Human Trafficking Coalition (NAHT) is a Christ-centered team of intervention specialists who rescue and restore women and children from the bondage of human trafficking. We believe that all roads of justice and healing lead to Jesus, and we walk out this mission through rescue, restoration, education, and empowerment.
Position Summary
The Operations Assistant will work directly under the Director of Operations, providing day-to-day administrative and organizational support across various departments. This person should be highly organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about the mission of NAHT. The role supports internal systems, communications, scheduling, logistics, and follow-up in a fast-paced, faith-driven environment.

- Assist in managing and maintaining the Director of Operations’ schedule, including internal meetings, department check-ins, staff reviews, and task tracking
- Create daily “Day at a Glance” summaries to prepare for each workday and week
- Draft, edit, and format internal documents, SOPs, reports, and presentations
- Organize digital files, forms, and operational systems (Google Drive, Excel, Canva, Word, etc.)
- Assist with department-wide coordination, including Restore, Rescue, Sweet Daisy, and Operations
- Track KPI reports and departmental goals in collaboration with department leads
- Support communication and coordination across departments and assist with project timelines
- Assist in preparing agendas, notes, and follow-up tasks for meetings
- Help coordinate and follow up on volunteer, maintenance, and facility needs
- Be a support system for daily administrative tasks and problem-solving
- Serve as backup for guest hospitality, tours, and phone/email responses when needed
- Participate in staff devotionals and prayer, contributing to the spiritual culture of NAHT

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in administration, operations, or nonprofit work
- 2–4 years of related administrative or coordination experience
- Nonprofit or ministry experience a plus
Skills & Attributes
- Exceptionally organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Canva, and Excel
- A proactive problem-solver with the ability to anticipate needs and follow through
- Flexible, teachable, and calm under pressure
- Detail-oriented with a high standard of excellence
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Aligned with NAHT’s mission and committed to supporting Christ-centered work
- Comfortable participating in prayer, staff devotionals, and ministry-centered work
- Engaged with a therapist or open to beginning therapy as part of working in this trauma-informed environment
- Active member of a local church (or seeking one if relocating)This position is ideal for someone who thrives behind the scenes, loves to keep things running smoothly, and finds joy in serving people and mission.
