Sallie Hussey

For over 20 years, Sallie has worked in the nonprofit sector in fundraising and administration. Her expertise and passions lie in change management and transformation of organizations. She has an understanding of the critical relationships between CEOs and board members, the importance of high-level focus, and problem-solving. Sharing these with new executives is a joy.

Her first nonprofit position, years ago, at FiftyForward led to a career in the sector, and in 2018 she returned to the agency as the chief executive. Prior to returning to this post, Sallie held two other executive positions. She was the CEO at Bridges serving the Deaf and Hard of Hearing for eight years and the executive director at CASA, Inc. of Nashville.

Sallie is a member of Nashville Downtown Rotary, was a CASA volunteer for over 10 years, was named to The Tennessean’s Top 40 under 40, and is a graduate of Leadership Nashville.  She has a bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University and a master’s degree in public relations from The University of Alabama.
