Cecilia “Cissy” Mynatt, a Senior Consultant with the Center for Nonprofit Management, has consulted with businesses, nonprofits and government over the past 20 years in the areas of strategic planning, organization development and leadership. Prior to establishing her consulting practice, she gained real world experience throughout her career with management and leadership roles in both the nonprofit and for-profit sectors. She has been involved in program development, service delivery and management; served as executive director for an accredited organization; managed planning and funding systems; and consulted with a variety of businesses, nonprofits, and government agencies. Cissy was affiliated with The Rensselaerville Institute as a consultant and worked with public and private sector organizations to help them develop the capacity to define and measure outcomes. She later managed the consulting practice for the Center for Nonprofit Management (CNM) and then served as vice president of business development at Centerstone, one of the nation’s largest community mental health centers. She continues to work with nonprofit organizations in Middle Tennessee as a senior consultant with CNM. Her educational background includes a master’s degree in organization management.
