Job Summary

Responsible for the shelter over 1 weekend a month

Job Responsibilities

    Answer the Crisis Line
    Responsible for security and maintenance of facility
    Provide supportive counseling and Crisis Intervention with clients
    Maintain accurate timely documentation
    Network with other social service agencies
    Assist with in-kind donations (Food, Clothing, etc.)
    Provide Outreach to current and former clients
    Provide professional and timely response to the request for assistance from the court advocate
    Work with volunteers
    Provide transportation as needed
    Provide timely and appropriate response to a Crisis Intervention Request
    All other duties as needed

Qualifications

    Valid Drivers License
    Automobile Insurance
    Pass Criminal Background Check
    The ability to interact in a positive manner with the program participants addressing behaviors through creative problem solving.
    The ability to work as a team using direct communication skills
    Organizational Skills
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    Computer Skills
    Flexibility
    Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs
    High School Diploma or GED
