Job Summary
Crisis Line, Meeting the needs of in–shelter and outreach clients, Picking up donations one weekend per month
Job Responsibilities
§ Answer the Crisis Line
§ Responsible for security and maintenance of facility
§ Provide supportive counseling and Crisis Intervention with clients
§ Maintain accurate timely documentation
§ Network with other social service agencies
§ Assist with in-kind donations (Food, Clothing, etc.)
§ Provide Outreach to current and former clients
§ Provide professional and timely response to the request for assistance from the court advocate
§ Work with volunteers
§ Provide transportation as needed
§ Provide timely and appropriate response to a Crisis Intervention Request
§ All other duties as needed
Requirements:
§ Valid Drivers License
§ Automobile Insurance
§ Pass Criminal Background Check
§ The ability to interact in a positive manner with the program participants addressing behaviors through creative problem solving.
§ The ability to work as a team using direct communication skills
§ Organizational Skills
§ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
§ Computer Skills
§ Flexibility
§ Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs
- High School Diploma or GED
