Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Family Engagement Coordinator Intern to help strengthen relationships with families and increase their involvement in our programs. This intern will work closely with our team to design and implement family-centered activities and workshops that foster literacy, community building, and educational engagement.

Job Responsibilities

  • Event Planning: Assist in planning, organizing, and hosting family engagement events such as workshops, resource fairs, and community-building activities.
  • Outreach and Communication: Connect with families to gather feedback, share resources, and encourage participation in AtoZ Learning Club programs.
  • Resource Development: Create materials and guides to support families in literacy development and education at home.
  • Support Activities: Help design interactive activities and events, such as scavenger hunts or storytimes, to promote family bonding and engagement.
  • Community Building: Work on strategies to build lasting relationships with families and encourage active involvement in their children’s education.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in education, child development, social work, or a related field.
  • Passion for working with families and creating inclusive, supportive environments.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Creativity and enthusiasm for planning engaging, family-friendly events.
  • Experience in community outreach, event planning, or family support services is a plus.
