Job Summary

The purpose of the Partnership Manager position is to build effective church community partnerships with public schools to see students thrive and communities transformed

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage United4Hope church community partnerships through coordinator email check-ins, partnership meetings, the creation and circulation of communication in various formats to all partners, and through ongoing data compilation
  • Deepen engagement of current partnerships and create new partnerships by conducting program promotional events virtually and at churches, one-on-one meetings, coaching coordinators, and facilitating orientations and continuing education opportunities for volunteers; participate in event management
  • Represent U4H to the community to include the faith, educational, and nonprofit institutions as well as the major gift funding sources to demonstrate community support.
  • Expand and collaborate with United4Hope community partners’ network to strengthen MNPS priority efforts
  • Develop a culture and community of collaboration within the United4Hope network
  • Contribute to communications and content for updating the website and social media
  • Supervise approved university projects and interns as directed
  • Collaborate with the entire OAG team in grant writing and grant management
  • Assist with updating organization’s CRM
  • Assist other partnership managers as needed to ensure overall success and effectiveness of United4Hope
  • Produce activity, summary, and status reports as needed





The ideal candidate will have experience in the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred
  • Three to five years of previous full time, similar related experience
  • Community organizing and development at the grassroots, local level
  • Partnership building experience, preferably in coalitions or collective impacts
  • Self-starter, process and detail orientated, able to manage multiple projects
  • Manage projects independently and as a member of a team
  • Public speaking, facilitating and coordinating meetings
  • Experience with diverse audiences, denominations, and cultures
  • Experience in the public education field and faith-based sector, preferably with Community Schools models, while maintaining separation of church and state
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience in or willing to learn Microsoft Office Suite, MailChimp, Canvas, Vimeo, and Little Green Light
  • Work ethic aligns with organizational core values of integrity, flexibility, adaptability, grace, transparency, trustworthiness, and respect
  • Travel required. Majority is local travel
  • Work week is partially in office, partially work from home.
  • Some evening and weekend work required.
