Job Summary
We are currently hiring a part-time Transportation & Program Assistant for a minimum of 20 hours weekly.
Compensation is $15/hour.
Schedule Required:
Mondays 4pm-8:30pm
Thursdays 5pm-8:30pm
Fridays 3pm-7pm
Saturdays 9am-1pm
Sundays 9am-1pm
Job Responsibilities
Transportation Responsibilities:
-Facilitate all transportation scheduling with the assistance of the Operations Supervisor and fulfill transportation needs for program guests
-Oversee all program scheduling for guest mothers and children and volunteers, along with all program-related household operations, requirements, and needs
-Complete all delegated administrative functions relevant to transportation, household operations, and program related responsibilities
– Organize work schedule around transportation needs and maximize time management and mobility
– Transport families to all necessary places on a weekly basis including but not limited to childcare, employment, health related appointments, and other necessary errands
– Keep communication about transportation open with staff by updating Google Calendar immediately with transportation plans
– Update transportation logs, monitor van service needs, and complete monthly transportation reports
Office & Shelter Maintenance Responsibilities:
– Flip rooms for new guests
– Clean and organize office
-There will be routine program and operational duties that are added when transportation schedule is less demanding due to the needs of families in our care
Qualifications
– High School Diploma
– Experience working with families in crisis preferred
** Must have clean background and driving record with at least 5 years of being a licensed driver.
** Must also be a team player with strong relational and communication skills.
** Must have a compassionate heart and a servant heart.
