Job Summary
We are currently hiring a part-time Transportation & Program Assistant for a minimum of 30 hours weekly.
Compensation is $15/hour.
Schedule: Mondays from 3-9pm Thursday from 3-9pm Friday from 2-9pm Saturday from 10-4pm Sunday from 9am- 2pm
Job Responsibilities
Facilitate all transportation scheduling with the assistance of the Program Coordinator and fulfill transportation needs for program guests. Oversee all program scheduling for guest mothers and children and volunteers, along with all program-related household operations, requirements, and needs. Complete all delegated administrative functions relevant to transportation, household operations, and program related responsibilities. Transportation – Organize work schedule around transportation needs and maximize time management and mobility – Transport families to all necessary places on a weekly basis including but not limited to childcare, employment, health related appointments, and other necessary errands – Keep communication about transportation open with staff by updating Google Calendar immediately with transportation plans – Update transportation logs, monitor van service needs, and complete monthly transportation reports – Office & Shelter Maintenance Responsibilities There will be routine program and operational duties that are added when transportation schedule is less demanding due to the needs of families in our care.
Qualifications
**Must have clean background and driving record with at least 5 years of being a licensed driver. Must also be a team player with strong relational and communication skills. Must have a compassionate heart and a servant heart.
