Job Summary

TSCPA’s Technology and Project Manager provides strategic direction for all TSCPA technology solutions and is responsible for supporting all departments with real time data and reporting.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversees, implements, and evaluates technology solutions
  • Documents, tracks and reports technology strategic goals and progress
  • Plans and implements technology training for staff.
  • Serves as primary liaison to technology vendors
  • Oversees budgets related to technology partners and hardware/software licensing
  • Leads cybersecurity initiative and works with appropriate vendors to ensure they adhere to security protocols
  • Assists in identifying partnerships and resources to create member value in innovations and technology
  • Provides technical support for TSCPA virtual learning programs
  • Assists in development of the Society’s disaster recovery plan.
  • Helps departments realize efficiencies through recommended process improvements
  • Develops reporting tools such as dashboards or custom reports that support decision making and information sharing across all departments
  • Serves as backup technician for TSCPA virtual CPE programs

Qualifications

Required Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Non-profit or association experience preferred
  • Project management experience
  • Knowledge of system reporting tools and best practices (PowerBI, Tableau)
  • Familiarity with association management systems a plus.

Required Competencies

  • Ability to assess and communicate the impact of new requirements on TSCPA applications, programs, and processes.
  • Ability to act as a bridge between subject matter experts and IT vendors.
  • Excellent problem solving, documentation, communication, and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, manage simultaneous requests, and attend to detail.
  • Must have a proactive, positive attitude and be customer focused teamplayer.
  • Excellent research and analysis skills
