Job Summary

Directs academic and enrichment activities for the program. Communicates staff expectations in conjunction with the Site Supervisor. Provides a safe and developmentally appropriate learning experience for students in grades Pre K–4, complying with rules, regulations, and policy.

Two locations: Ross Early Learning Center and Casa Asafran Early Learning Center

Job Responsibilities

What you will do

  • Supervises assistants adhering to rules, regulations, and policy.
  • Communicates and plans regularly with direct reports.
  • Develops and implements engaging instruction and enrichment opportunities for students and families.
  • Maintains accurate documentation, including but not limited to, attendance, emergency contact, incident reports, and accounting reports.
  • Attends and participates in staff meetings, planning, and training sessions.
  • Implements safety and emergency procedures in conjunction with policy and procedures. Implements evacuation and other safety drills with students and staff on a regular basis.
  • Develop positive relationships with the Extended Learning leadership team, school staff, and community partners.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

Experience

Two (2) years applicable experience Required

Skills and Abilities

  • Background knowledge in Federal and State grants is preferred.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Federal and State laws and regulations of District policies and procedures preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

DL NUMBER – Driver License, Valid and in State Valid driver’s license Required
