Job Summary
Project Transformation Tennessee offers a faith-based summer program for college-age young adults.
Summer staff work in teams to plan and implement summer programs for children and youth. In addition to mentoring children and youth in the enrichment program, staff commit to building community with teammates and the larger PT staff community. Other responsibilities include: collaborative and individual planning, vocational discernment, and investing in relationships with children and volunteers.
Job Responsibilities
- Facilitate Summer Program
- Complete staff training
- Participate on a team of young adults
- Individually and collaboratively plan activities for children and youth
- Maintain a clean, fun, and safe program environment
- Fill out and turn in required paperwork in a timely manner
- Communicate regularly with Site Coordinator
- Build Intentional Relationships
- Support and encourage teammates and other interns
- Interact positively with program participants and their parents
- Build relationships with host and partner churches
- Engage in Vocational Discernment
- Attend Friday Experiences
- Reflect on offerings from speakers, participating in small group conversations
- Network with volunteers, outside speakers, other interns
- Communicate regularly with House Pastor
- Commit to Spiritual Development
- Participate in morning devotions, weekly worship experiences
- Recognize that your voice is valuable in worship spaces, no matter your religious background
- When there are opportunities to lead, lean in!
Qualifications
Applicants must have completed one year of college or be at least 19 years old before the internship begins, and must have the legal right to work in the U.S.

Benefits
Dates: The summer staff position runs from May 25 to July 29, 2022. This includes training and 8 weeks of summer day camp.
Locations: Interns can be placed in Nashville, Murfreesboro, Clarksville, or Memphis
Compensation: $3,240-$4,000 (potential cash pay scale depends on position for 40 hours per week. In addition to paycheck, the total compensation package includes housing and meals.
