Job Summary

Centennial Park Conservancy, the nonprofit support group for Centennial Park and the Nashville Parthenon, is seeking a talented individual to manage the daily activity on our social media channels, including our organization account, Musicians Corner and Kidsville program, and the Parthenon.

  • This is an contractor position, primarily remote, with contract details and length to be determined
  • The position will manage @conservanynash, @muscornernash, @kidsvilleonline, and @nashvilleparthenon handles on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, and introduce our @cetennialpark account on Tiktok.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create a social media content strategy and set creative direction to engage/grow followers, promote events, and support fundraising
  • Create and manage a social media calendar
  • Write and create dynamic content
  • Post content on social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok) and promote posts as necessary
  • Engage followers and respond to posts and messages in a timely manner
  • Resume
  • Proposal that includes a statement regarding how you could benefit our organization, high level details about how you would engage/grow social media followers, a summary of relevant experience including any current and former clients, samples of previous work, a proposed monthly fee, and any questions or requests for more information

About Centennial Park Conservancy: 

Centennial Park Conservancy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that works in partnership with Nashville’s Metro Parks to support Centennial Park and the Parthenon. The organization underwrites and presents a variety of enriching programs that make a widespread imprint on the Nashville community and our visitors. Key programs include Nashville Parthenon exhibition and educational initiatives, Musicians Corner, Kidsville, and Nashville Earth Day. Centennial Park Conservancy is also partnering with Metro Parks on the Centennial Park Revitalization, a multi-phase transformation of the park that will preserve and enhance Nashville’s central park to better serve current and future generations.

Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and content management
  • Experience with content delivery in a variety of formats (written, images, audio, video)
  • Excellent written skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to track and analyze social media success metrics
  • Nonprofit knowledge or experience a plus
