Job Responsibilities

  • Works independently and collaboratively to provide NPT with creative, efficient, high-quality post-production and editing.
  • Provides editing services by operating non-linear edit systems to creatively assemble video/audio elements into completed segments and/or programs.
  • Establishes project guidelines for editors and producers.
  • Implements and manages editing standards for local projects and productions.
  • Oversees media assets for ongoing projects and archive.
  • Seeks to improve content delivery, consistency and communication across departments.

Occasionally operates studio & field production equipment. Able to act as producer of content as needed. Adapts to changing methods of content creation to maintain high standards and serve the overall mission of NPT.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum five years of experience in video editing on non-linear edit systems, Adobe Premiere Pro CC preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of post-production equipment and techniques.
  • Experience with Photoshop, After Effects are preferred.
  • Ability to transport and utilize equipment weighing up to 35 pounds as needed.
  • Additional experience acting as producer preferred
