Job Summary

The Sales Coordinator will contribute to the success and growth of the Sales team. The responsibilities of this position will include supporting sales team members, promoting growth and diversity of revenue, ensuring customer satisfaction, executing orders with excellence and precision, and handling administrative tasks. The Sales Coordinator will also be responsible for the logistics and operations of the coffee cart.

Job Responsibilities

Sales Coordinator Responsibilities

  1. Work with the Sales Manager to improve team productivity by contacting customers to arrange appointments and ensuring the sales team has high-quality, up-to-date information from customers.
  2. Communicate and handle urgent calls, emails, and messages when they arise including handling customer orders, informing them of delays, and arranging delivery dates.
  3. Collaborate with Sales Manager to generate sales leads by reaching out to prospective customers via phone, email, or in-person meetings.
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with wholesale partners.
  5. Plan, coordinate, oversee and manage all coffee cart operations.
  6. Plan and lead any current or future coffee cart opportunities. 
  7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure sales, marketing, and deliveries are handled efficiently.
  8. Input orders received by customers, create invoices, verify orders with Production, and ensure orders are accurate and delivered on time.
  9. Clearly communicate with customers about products in a manner consistent with company standards.
  10. Meet the goals and expectation set by the Sales Manager
  11. All additional responsibilities as assigned by the Sales Manager.

Qualifications

Requirements 

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following professional qualifications:

  1. A commitment to the mission and vision of the organization
  2. A desire and commitment to live in the community served
  3. A Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years relevant work experience
  4. 2+ years Barista experience preferred
  5. Excellent communication, sales and customer service skills

Additional Expectations

  1. Attend and participate in weekly staff meetings. 
  2. Maintain individual performance goals set by the Sales Manager and provide updates of results on a weekly basis in conjunction with staff meetings.
  3. Participate in staff development and growth opportunities.
  4. Participate in organization wide events.
