Job Summary

This position works closely with our Finance Department to help individuals that not able to manage their bills, because of this assistance our clients remain independent.  Mid-Cumberland works hand in hand with the Social Security Administration (SSA) to insure each client’s basic needs are met and their bills promptly paid.

Job Responsibilities

RPS enrolls new clients, establishes budgets, completes the applications to establish Mid-Cumberland as the Representative Payee and prepare payee reports for submission to the Social Security Administration such as payee accounting reports, and disability update reports.  Responsibilities also involve client communications and responding promptly to client requests.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited high school supplemented with additional coursework or experience in maintaining spreadsheets and databases.  More than three years’ experience in social work required.  College level courses helpful. Additional requirements include clean background, driver’s license, and reliable transportation.
