Job Summary

Regional Program Director – Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Will cover Cookeville, Crossville, Dayton, Dunlap, Jasper, Livingston, McMinnville, Rockwood and Tracy City campuses.

Full Time position for an experienced licensed mental health/addiction professional to provide clinical and administrative oversight to an Addiction and Co-occurring Disorders Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). These groups provide a high level and frequency of services for individuals living with addiction and/or co-occurring disorders.

Job Responsibilities

Provide clinical supervision and support to IOP counselors.

  • F2F and/or tele-video supervision of staff, review of clinical documentation, training staff on program curriculum.
  • Provide administrative oversight to IOP programs. Coordinating schedules across several sites, assisting with audits and program monitoring, approving timesheets, review of billing, contract management.
  • Facilitate IOP groups face to face or via tele-video and provide the following services for assigned clients:
  • Assessment of mental health, psychosocial and physical needs.
  • Referral to internal/external services and support systems.
  • Consultation with other service providers and referral services.
  • Preparation of reports for agencies, courts, other service providers, etc.
  • Provide marketing and outreach to community partners and referral sources in coordination with other VBHCS staff.
  • Maintain clinical records according to VBHCS Policy & Procedure and Quality Assurance standards.
  • Participate in staffing, administrative staff meetings, supervisory sessions and other Center committees as assigned.
  • One hour of Corporate Compliance Training and four hours of Risk Area Training annually.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Master’s Degree in the Behavioral Sciences or related field with active license in Tennessee. LPC, LMSW, LCSW preferred. Experience in group, family, and individual therapy with individuals living with mental illness, addiction, or co-occurring disorders preferred. Salary and worksite to be determined based on experience, licensure, education and location.
