Job Summary

This is a part-time position with benefits in a nice office environment in the Nashville Airport area. Starting pay $12.50 per hour

Job Responsibilities

Redline Responsibilities

Answer REDLINE as assigned; REDLINE responsibilities are primary and should always super cede any Resource Program support

  • Provide confidential, gambling, alcohol, tobacco and other drug information and referral resources according to REDLINE manual
  • Report any incorrect provider information, service trends or urgent issues to supervisor promptly
  • All interactions will be professional, courteous and supportive

Resource Program Duties

Resource program areas will be assigned to specific staff. Those program area duties can include assignments in the Clearinghouse, Bookstore, Video Library or Front Desk. There will be a primary staff person designated for each task. Front Desk duties will be assigned to a primary staff person and all staff, regardless of job description, are expected to assist to greet people arriving at the front desk and support the Front Desk Duties. All REDLINE and Resource Staff participate with inventories as assigned.

Clearinghouse – Literature

o Perform intermittent inventories as assigned including file cabinets

o Fill free literature clearinghouse orders, including boxing and shipping

  • Inform supervisor if publication titles are needed
  • Copy Literature as assigned
  • Look for new literature and document to supervisor
  • Supervises CSW/volunteer staff as assigned

o Attends Clearinghouse outreach events as assigned

  • Straighten and dust
  • Clearinghouse – Video/DVD Library

o Monitor video returns and accounts using Videomate software

o Check video drop box – process and shelve returns

  • Straighten and dust
  • Prepare video shipments for daily UPS or customer pickup, scheduling quarterly video customers, registering new video lending library customers and other related duties
  • Review video use
  • Make new copies as needed
  • Recommend titles for removal * Reviews and recommends new material
  • Reviews trade publications
  • Surveys customers and members

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED

Basic computer skills

Good organizational and time management skills

Call center experience or skills preferred

Knowledge of substance abuse preferred
