Nashville Rescue Mission is actively seeking a part-time Receptionist to join our team. Are you the right person?

Position Schedule:

Saturday – Sunday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Job Responsibilities

You’re Strong In Your Faith

Sharing the love of Jesus Christ is the heart of this position. Your job is to communicate the Gospel and model Christian character to Life Recovery Program participants and Mission guests. Are you prepared to share your testimony?

You’re A Great Communicator

The Receptionist is responsible for answering incoming calls in a timely and professional manner. Monitoring the facility for security issues by consistently viewing security cameras. Warmly greeting visitors, volunteers, and Mission program participants and directing them accordingly. Writing incident reports, accepting donations and writing receipts. Performing assigned computer and administrative skills, as directed by supervisor.

You’re A Diplomat

Can you handle a multi-line phone system while balancing other administrative duties? Knowing the rules and following the rules comes along with the territory. The right person for this position ensures every phone call or person entering the facility is treated with dignity and respect.

Qualifications

  • Committed Christian
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • Ability to operate basic office equipment, such as computers, copiers, and printers.
  • Preferred, experience in administrative or receptionist duties

Let us help you save for the future. Nashville Rescue Mission contributes 3% of an employee’s earnings after they have completed their first year of service. If you decide to contribute to the plan as well, you will enjoy a 50% match on contributions from 1% to 6%.
