Mercy Community Health is excited to announce that we are hiring a Quality Management Director at our Franklin, TN location. Mercy exists to show the love and compassion of Jesus Christ by providing excellent healthcare to all and support to their families. Mercy provides comprehensive Primary Care in our Adult and Pediatric Clinics. Mercy also addresses Mental Health in our Department of Psychiatry and Counseling Center. As a Federally Qualified Healthcare Center (FQHC), Mercy primarily serves uninsured and underinsured patients in our community.

Job Responsibilities

What Is This Job All About?

  • Providing leadership in the development of a culture of safety and measurement of the quality of care identifying opportunities and strategies for performance improvement.
  • Directing and coordinating Quality Department accreditation, policy, and regulatory affairs initiatives.
  • Providing overall direction necessary to ensure that clinical services are provided in accordance with standards established through state and federal regulations including the National Committee of Quality Assurance.
  • Completing PCMH accreditation reports.
  • Completing FTCA yearly application.
  • Preparing reports and assesses compliance with accreditation standards and regulations related to clinical care in collaboration with entity leadership and staff. Identifying areas of vulnerability and directing the development of strategies to enhance compliance.
  • Assisting in the development, monitoring, and presentation of internal quality measures and initiatives. Coordinating tracking and reporting of clinical and utilization outcomes, and follow-up of corrective action plans.
  • Focusing on improving outcomes by encouraging innovation; demonstrating the ability to anticipate obstacles and develop plans to overcome them.
  • Demonstrating the ability to maintain high levels of customer and staff satisfaction by meeting organizational expectations; building and maintaining positive relationships with customers and colleagues; interacting with all customers and team members in a polite, friendly, and courteous manner; actively listens to assess customer and staff needs; promotes a positive public image for the organization.

Qualifications

What We Need from You:

  • Degree in Nursing is required with RN License. Individuals with experience in leading a quality improvement program may be considered.
  • Three years minimum of administrative leadership experience in quality and patient safety activities in an FQHC is preferred.
  • Must be able to manage multiple deadlines required of him/her and of the departments he/she manages. This includes the ability to work toward multiple goals concurrently and set priorities according to schedules and guidelines
  • Ability to express ideas effectively face-to-face, as well as in writing, in individual and group situations, adjusting language and terminology to the needs of the audience, and the ability to synthesize information received verbally and in writing.
  • Outstanding skills in data collection, analysis, and presentation. Experience in the use of spreadsheets (i.e. Excel) for QI-related data management dashboard.
