POSITION SUMMARY:

End Slavery Tennessee is seeking a qualified person to serve the agency as the Survivor Restoration Campus Project Manager. The Project Manager will oversee and organize the building and renovation projects on ESTN’s new residential campus. This person will work with the senior management team to execute the vision of the phased capital project. The position will be responsible for seeking bids and proposals and managing the day-to-day construction projects. ESTN is in the midst of transformational change and the Project Manager will be responsible for leading the buildout of the new campus. A high standard of professional and ethical conduct, integrity and accountability is paramount.

Position Reporting to the CEO/COO

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Seek bids, proposals and quotes for building projects
  • Responsible for successful coordination, completion and submittal of all Requests for Proposals
  • Prepare request for proposals including, but not limited to:
  • Coordinate with all team members and review submission for accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare RFP template
  • Write, edit and revise all documents as needed
  • Deliver to appropriate agency
  • Review all work for accuracy and completeness
  • Ability to grade the proposals for quality and reliability
  • Create long and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
  • Communicate with executives or the board to keep the projects aligned with the goals
  • Document all communications between vendors for quotes and bids
  • Serve as the point of contact for teams when multiple tasks are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy
  • Perform quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected
  • Adjust schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project changes
  • Assist and Prepare Development Plans including, but not limited to:
  • Preparation of Project Schedule
  • Preparation of Project Proforma
  • Preparation of Project Description
  • Preparation of Market Analysis
  • Preparation of Construction Budgets
  • Manage and provide research and documentation in the delivery of project development plans
  • Perform site visits

Qualifications

Key Skills & Capabilities:

  • Familiarity with state reporting and documentation a plus
  • Knowledge and familiarity with Davidson County zoning and permits essential
  • Excellent communication skills between vendors and internal management
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to be flexible
  • Ability to delegate tasks to others who are best positioned to complete them
  • Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project
  • Adjust schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project changes

 

Special Attention:

The office is in close proximity to the survivor Care Center where you may interact with survivors of human trafficking. This issue is sensitive and complex. Every employee is trained in trauma-informed and strength-based approaches. We strive to create a completely judgement free work environment. Empathy, compassion and ability to deal with difficult situations is a must for anyone who works at End Slavery Tennessee.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work is carried out in a hybrid fashion with some work at the office and some at home at the discretion of the CEO. Some car travel and use of personal vehicle is required with mileage reimbursement. Applicants should expect a dynamic workplace with the ability to switch directions and execute a plan.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Initial and subsequent random drug screening is required as per agency policy.
  • A background check is required.

Benefits

JOB TYPE:

Full-time position where hours may vary depending on project rhythms. Willing to work some evening and weekend hours, as required to accomplish the job.

SERVICE AREA & TRAVEL:

The End Slavery Tennessee Survivor Restoration Campus is located in the greater Davidson County area. Routine day travel will be required, and mileage reimbursed.

SALARY AND BENEFITS:

Base Salary:

  • Range: $65,000.00 – $75,000, based on a combination of education and experience.

Benefits:

  • Healthcare stipend – $500.00/ month. Eligible after 30 days of employment.
  • 120 hours PTO annually, accrued 10 hours/ month. Eligible after 30 days of employment.
  • 96 hours sick leave annually, accrued 4 hours/ pay period. Eligible after 30 days of employment.
  • 13 paid holidays
  • 4 floating holidays
  • Short term disability, Long term disability, AD&D and Life insurance
  • Employer 403b match up to 1% of salary based on employee contributions. Eligible after 6 months of employment
