Job Summary
- The programs manager has both an internally and externally facing role managing relationships in the community with a heavy emphasis on maintaining and developing partnerships, and establishing standards of performance across all programs
- Runs day-to-day operations pertaining to all programs
- Responsible for maintaining the integrity of all TNBC programs, meeting strategic plan goals and objectives, and achieving meaningful outcomes
Job Responsibilities
NEW BEGINNINGS CLIENT RECRUITMENT
- Promotes New Beginnings’ 12-week programs
- Creates posts for the New Beginnings closed Facebook Group
- Works with Marketing Committee to schedule posts for The New Beginnings Center’s Facebook page and Instagram account
- Creates email campaigns using Constant Contact
- Notifies referral partners and referring physicians of upcoming class start dates and provides updated marketing materials for distribution to members, clients, and patientNetworks with other non-profits and companies to increase program applications
- Processes participant applications and ensures all paperwork is submitted
- Prepares class data sheets
- Receives and tracks all sliding scale and Repeater fee payments
SATELLITE LOCATIONS MANAGEMENT
- Maintains relationships with contacts at satellite locations
- Works with lead contacts to make sure community stays informed about class offerings
- Creates coaching schedule
- Manages equipment inventory
EVENTS & WORKSHOPS
- Plans one health and wellness workshop per month for clients and community members
- Creates workshop fliers and distributes to clients and referral partners
- Tracks RSVP’s and attendance numbers
DATA RECORDING & DATA MANAGEMENT
- Accurately records and tracks client data for duration of New Beginnings 12-week program
- Collects data from satellite coaches
- Keeps up-to-date record of numbers served at all locations
VOLUNTEERS
- Recruits and trains volunteers
- Manages portal with Hands on Nashville
- Organizes volunteers for New Beginnings classes, health fairs and other events throughout the year
Qualifications
Ideal candidate will be:
- Passionate about helping women and teenage girls become stronger and healthier
- An excellent written and verbal communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Results oriented
- Creative and a self-starter
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Experienced in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Undergraduate Degree required
NCCA personal trainer certification or willingness to obtain one
3 years’ project management and/or coaching experience required
Background in nutrition or life-coaching a plus
