Job Summary
- Coordinates distribution of program-related plans to staff working with adults with disabilities.
- Serves as the agency’s contact with the Department of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, Independent Support Coordinators, Therapists and MCOs.
- Leads training, participates on the management team.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders, including families, community organizations, state aencies.
- Represent Journeys in Community Living in the community and participate in advocacy councils, etc. as requested.
- Participate in the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of programs to increase and improve the effectiveness of services offered.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in the Human Services field required.
- At least three years of paid professional experience in the Human Services field preferred.
- Must pass criminal background check.
- Thorough knowledge of disability issues and service delivery models.
