Job Summary

Musicians On Call (MOC) brings live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities. The Program Coordinator is a full-time, non-exempt position whose primary responsibilities are coordinating all Virtual Programs and the Music Pharmacy program. The Program Coordinator will facilitate Virtual Programs across the country by connecting hospitals, patients, and MOC volunteers through Zoom and YouTube Live to share music programming with patients and healthcare staff. They will also oversee the Music Pharmacy program by recruiting hospitals, processing their applications, packaging, and shipping tablets, headphones, and streaming services to hospitals across the country. As a member of the Program Team, the Program Coordinator may be asked to support general team initiatives and programs outside of the digital space as well. The Program Coordinator will also work with the Director of Programs and Program Team to implement the new technology-focused program delivery model of Musicians On Call. The Program Coordinator will report to the Director of Programs and will be based out of Nashville, TN.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee all Virtual Programs by scheduling volunteers and managing hospital relationships as it pertains to Virtual Programs
  • Confidently and charismatically “host” on-camera Virtual Programs in both English and Spanish
  • Identify new ways to increase impact and elevate program experience for hospitals and patients
  • Manage and regularly update applications, records, and statistics through Salesforce and MOC’s Portal
  • Onboard and manage new and existing volunteers, as needed
  • Respond to program inquiries nationally
  • Work with the Director of Programs to coordinate special visits as needed
  • Coordinate the fulfillment of Music Pharmacy requests in new facilities. Responsibilities include: technical set up, packaging, and shipping of program tablets and materials, maintaining hospital partner relationships, and increasing program awareness
  • Request and oversee feedback for all Virtual Programs and Music Pharmacies

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications Required:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal — bilingual (Spanish/English) required
  • Disciplined self-starter who can set and achieve goals with a passion for and interest in learning more about the nonprofit world
  • Ability to prioritize projects, meet deadlines, manage several projects simultaneously and work well under pressure
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed
  • Ability and comfort with working onsite at hospitals as needed
  • Computer literacy and knowledge of Google Workspace, Zoom, and YouTube required; CRM familiarity preferred

Education/Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience within nonprofit, music industry, radio, healthcare, or related field(s)
  • Experience in a healthcare setting, knowledge of HIPAA and infection control policies is preferred
