Position Description:
The Program Coordinator will be part of a collaborative team that supports RHA’s grant initiatives, with a focus on acting as a resource for federally designated Rural Health Clinics (RHC).

Responsibilities include tracking, collecting, and reporting quantitative and qualitative data; organizing online and in-person training; maintaining accurate membership lists; filing; and supporting other network activities. This position reports to the Rural Health Clinic Network Director.

Job Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate program files in TruServe and Excel.
  • Maintain accurate membership lists, recruitment lists, and member files.
  • Support the organization of electronic files.
  • Plan, organize, and host 6-8 online learning events aligned with grant objectives.
  • Develop, prepare, and promote a monthly newsletter for the RHC audience, and track engagement.
  • Assists with compiling information for monthly and annual reports.
  • Review QCOR each month to monitor new or closed RHCs.
  • Assists with recruitment and tracking of attendance at events, training, and certification of individuals.
  • Manage Learning Management System access for RHC members.
  • Assist with resource development including ordering and distribution of RHC materials,
    and developing RHA-branded materials for RHCs.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations related to RHA and/or its programs, as requested.
  • Solicit member feedback through evaluations, surveys, committees, etc.
  • Work cross-functionally with other RHA staff to support all programs and organizational goals as identified by RHA’s strategic plan and contracts.
  • Assist with special projects as needed.

Travel Requirements – Up to 30% Time

  • Travel is required for RHA’s Annual Conference (November), 1 Regional Event, 1 RHC
    Meeting (Murfreesboro), and meetings as required by the funders. (some overnights are required)
  • Occasional travel to visit program staff and/or partners across Tennessee.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree and 3 years’ experience.
  • Organized, proactive, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstration of excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem-solving, communication (verbal and written), and project management skills required.
  • Proficient using technology (Microsoft Suite)
  • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment to improving health among rural and other minority populations.
  • Commitment to learning new things and developing as a leader.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Flexible with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License and proof of auto insurance.
  • Must have a distraction-free environment to work and internet access if working remotely.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience managing complex projects and/or grants.
  • Experience with developing communications, i.e., newsletters, social media, resource production
  • Experience with billing, coding, and compliance

Benefits

Additional Information:

  • Starting salary is $45,000 – $50,000
  • Hybrid position – 2 days/week expected in office (Decaturville or Tullahoma)
  • 37.5 hour work week, Monday – Friday, option to start/end day one hour early/later.
  • Unlimited PTO (10-day minimum requirement); must be supervisor approved

  • $50/month home office stipend, travel reimbursement (does not include travel to the office)

All positions are subject to a minimum of a 90-day probationary period, at which time the employee’s performance will be reviewed. Option to extend the probationary period if the employee and/or the employer do not feel they’ve had sufficient time to determine if the employee and job are appropriately matched.
