Job Summary

Musicians On Call (MOC) is a nonprofit organization that brings live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare environments. The Program Coordinator is a full-time, non-exempt position responsible for coordinating programs, volunteers and hospital partnerships in Nashville as well as supporting the Program Team with all team needs. The Program Coordinator will support all volunteer onboarding and special programmatic initiatives in Nashville as needed. The Program Coordinator will work with the Sr. Director of Programs and Team to continue to evolve and strengthen the new technology-focused program delivery model of MOC. This position will report to the Senior Program Manager and will be based in Nashville, TN.

Job Responsibilities

Program Management Responsibilities

  • Maintain program and hospital relationships in Nashville and additional markets as assigned
  • Serve as the liaison between volunteers and hospitals in assigned markets
  • Identify new ways to increase impact and elevate program experience for hospitals and patients 
  • Manage and regularly update applications, records, and statistics 
  • Work with the Senior Program Manager to coordinate volunteer events and special visits in assigned markets
  • Support the Senior Program Manager with MOC Streaming and other needs as assigne

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications Required

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Disciplined self-starter who can set and achieve goals with a passion for and interest in learning more about the nonprofit world
  • Ability to prioritize projects, meet deadlines, manage several projects simultaneously and work well under pressure

  • Ability and willingness to travel overnight as needed
  • Ability and comfort with working onsite at hospitals
  • Computer literacy and knowledge of Google Workspace required; CRM familiarity preferred

Education/Training

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience within nonprofit, music industry, radio, healthcare, or related field(s)
  • Experience in a healthcare setting, knowledge of HIPAA and infection control policies is preferred
