Job Summary

Mercy Multiplied, a Christian residential home for women, comprised of four U.S. homes, has an immediate opening for a full-time Human Resources Specialist at our corporate office located in Nashville, Tennessee.

Mercy Multiplied is dedicated to help young women break free from life-controlling behaviors and situations, including eating disorders, self-harm, drug and alcohol addictions, unplanned pregnancy, depression, sexual abuse, and sex trafficking. Our program is voluntary, biblically-based, and free of charge to young women ages 13 to 32. It uses proven methods, lasts approximately six months, and features a multi-dimensional approach to heal body, mind, and spirit.

Job Responsibilities

Accounting

• Prepares financial reports from the home checking account, petty cash and blessings account 

• Facilitates all staff accounting needs between Home and Corporate

• Supervises and manages all monetary donations given to homes including making weekly bank trips

Resident Finances

• Supervises, manages, and audits all personal and medical funds, and documentation for residents

• Communicates with residents’ parents/guardians regarding resident financial account.   

• Manages all outgoing funds for tithes, education, passes, special events and mall days

• Lead residents through monthly budgeting for mall trips and special events

Administrative

• Responsible for keeping the Reception Area clean and orderly

• Manages class response checklist, assists with ministry vehicle reservations

• Assists Director of Home Operations, as needed

Residents

• Provides tour of home and corporate upon arrival of new residents

• Receives, handles and/or disseminates resident needs to pertinent staff

• Plans, coordinates and participates in weekly Fun Friday events.

• Supervises mall trips with residents

• Maintains residents’ postage supplies, sharps bags, electronics and important documents. 

• Oversees resident purchases of Mercy merchandise

• Photograph and post new resident photos to Shared drive

• Oversees resident check out process

General

• Answers the phone and works the front desk of the home (includes receiving deliveries, welcoming guests, preparing home staff and resident mail, facilitating questions for residents and sign-up forms for residents being monitored following meals)

• Must be responsible for safe transportation of residents, as needed

• Receives donations to the Blessings Closet and follows up accordingly

• Other duties as deemed necessary

Qualifications

Reports to: Director of Home Operations

Education: College degree in Social Science preferred

Skills: Typing and computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, ability to work under constant deadlines, ability to reconcile a wide variety of accounting documents, must work well with people. Must have a thorough understanding of, and dedication to, the vision of Mercy Multiplied, along with demonstrated Christian work ethics.
