Job Summary

The Global Product Specialist is responsible for the brand and product awareness both internally at Thistle Farms and externally to our customers. This position will be supervised by the Director of Global Shared Trade; works directly with the Global Shared Trade team to compile product information and artisan storytelling; and work closely with the Marketing Team to disseminate a packaged detailed product launch support.

Job Responsibilities

● Determine audience segmentation, strategies, tactics, assets, creative deliverables, content, budget, and messaging

● Build and manage project schedules and maintain communications with contributors and stakeholders

● Apply a data-driven approach to evaluate the performance of campaigns, channels, and tactics in accordance with established metrics

● Collaborate across marketing and sales to define, develop, and implement integrated campaign strategies

● Deliver campaigns focused on key industry topics

● Determine strategies to sales opportunities, and supports distribution channel needs

● Ensure correct brand positioning of product line consistent with brand DNA

● Lead / execute merchandising plans and strategies that support seasonal stories and key initiatives

● Define and optimize market introduction timelines and approaches for different channels of distribution

● Support campaigns set up and track results

● Ensure that a consistent message and brand voice are applied across campaign tactics

● Train sales teams on product and campaigns seasonally

● Compile reports for management showing ROI

Qualifications

● Experience working in marketing and or product management

● A passion for womens rights and Handmade Artisan Goods

● Knowledge of product development process and textiles is essential

● Bachelor degree in related field

● Ability to travel internationally

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills; online and in-person presentation skills a must

● Creative, collaborative thinker with an ability to learn new things, assess problems and identify proactive solutions quickly

● Self-starter, comfortable leading change and getting things done

● Able to establish and develop relationships and partnerships with internal and external team members

● Detail-oriented with strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

● Flexible and responsive to changing situations

● Able to work independently and as part of a team

● Self-motivated and focused on achieving results
