Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Partner Engagement Manager with a focus on building relationships within the financial market. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the corporate sector, particularly within finance, and will excel at cultivating and securing major corporate gifts from financial institutions. This role is primarily office-based and emphasizes high-level relationship management, corporate engagement, and securing large-scale funding to support our mission. The position is key to driving our financial programs, which will help inspire high school girls and university women to pursue careers in finance.
Job Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Corporate Fundraising in Finance: Build and manage relationships with corporations in the financial sector, including banks, investment firms, and financial services companies. Focus on securing major gifts to support programs that engage young women in finance.
- High-Impact Relationship Building: Cultivate long-term, meaningful partnerships with corporate donors and decision-makers, positioning the organization as a leader in broadening representation in the financial industry.
- Strategic Engagement: Identify and approach new corporate partners who are aligned with the organization’s mission, emphasizing the importance of women’s representation in the financial sector.
- Soliciting Major Donations: Lead efforts in securing significant financial contributions to support programming and initiatives that promote career pathways in finance for young women.
- Corporate Stewardship: Ensure strong donor stewardship through regular updates, recognition, and the development of impact reports that demonstrate the results of their support.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the programs and alumni teams to align fundraising strategies with organizational goals, ensuring all corporate partners are engaged in meaningful ways.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in corporate fundraising, particularly within the financial services or related sectors, with a demonstrated ability to secure five-figure or more donations.
- Strong relationship-building skills, including the ability to engage senior leaders in the financial market and corporate giving departments.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present a compelling case for supporting young women in finance.
- A strategic, proactive approach to prospecting, outreach, and relationship management.
- Ability to work independently, with a strong focus on results and achieving fundraising targets.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
- Familiarity with corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives in the financial sector.
- Experience working with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Raiser’s Edge).

Travel: 20 – 30%, seasonally
Time Commitment: 40 hours/week
Pay: $55,000+ per year, commensurate with experience
