Job Summary
Do you love being outdoors? Are you curious about nature? Do you enjoy exploring your backyard and sharing discoveries with others? Then consider joining the summer naturalist team! Warner Park Nature Center is looking for a summer seasonal naturalist that will work with our Environmental Education (EE) program to provide outdoor exploration programs to youth, families, day camps and the general public.
Job Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
• Share enthusiasm of nature with youth in a variety of programs and day camps
• Help develop and plan environmental education activities for youth and families
• Facilitate visitors in the exploration of the pond and garden
• Support the EE program by helping maintain bird feeding stations, gardens and grounds
• Assist park visitors at the front desk and through encounters in the Park
Qualifications
Enthusiasm for nature and willingness to work with youth in an outdoor setting.
