Position Overview

Outcome Evaluation Specialists support the Research Department in a wide variety of essential tasks. Each OE specialist specializes in one area and is able to act as a back-up for at least one other specialist. OE Specialist may have responsibilities in multiple systems (Evolv, GuideTree, Voxco, REDCap, MSTI website, Positive Exits Database, MS SQL server, MySQL). The position is heavily focused on data quality, ensuring that data utilized within each system is accurate for the tasks completed by other staff within the department (e.g., the call team and the data reporting team). OE Specialists may also work with staff in other departments (Partners, Placement, MST Experts) to ensure the accuracy of data related to specific processes within those areas. Most tasks occur on a set schedule (daily, weekly, monthly), but flexibility is necessary to incorporate other tasks as new process are developed, as well as ad hoc tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Complete assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
• Ensure accuracy of the data in all assigned tasks
• Troubleshoot when processes are not working correctly to ensure all issues are resolved and data related concerns have been addressed
• Provide feedback, directions, and/or training when data related mistakes are discovered
• Ensure deadlines are meet, while being flexible with task priorities
• Manage all aspects of assigned tasks and process within the area and system of focus (e.g., Voxco call assignments and management, Evolv data quality checks, MST/TAMS related processes, or positive exit management and reports

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university is required

Applicant must demonstrate ability to be detail-oriented

Experience with process analysis, documentation, and management is strongly preferred

Excellent verbal and critical thinking skills are required

Proficiency in Windows, and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) is required

Knowledge of CATI software, SPSS, SQL, Evolv, and LexisNexis is useful

Experience growth and development through our continuous training, as well as tuition and licensure reimbursement, or pursue opportunities to advance both clinically and administratively with Youth Villages.
