Job Summary
This is a position that has many different responsibilities and would be perfect for someone who likes to stay busy while doing purposeful work serving women and children experiencing homelessness as they put their lives back together. Grace Place is a rapidly growing nonprofit serving Sumner County!
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
– Facilitate all transportation scheduling with the assistance of the Program Coordinator and fulfill transportation needs by transporting program guests.
– Observe all program scheduling for guest mothers and children and volunteers, along with all program-related household operations, requirements, and needs.
– Complete all delegated administrative functions relevant to transportation, household operations, and program related responsibilities.
– Transport families to all necessary places during shifts on a weekly basis including but not limited to childcare, employment, health related appointments, and other necessary errands. Transportation is in a 15 passenger van.
– Update transportation logs, monitor van service needs, and complete monthly transportation reports
– Assist with Children’s programming on Monday and Thursday evenings
– Perform random drug tests and distribute medication
– Deep clean office weekly
– Monitor and resolve any facility issues (examples are changing lightbulbs and keeping up with repair needs)
There will be routine program and operational duties that are added when transportation schedule is less demanding due to the needs of families in our care.
Qualifications
*****Must have High School Diploma & a clean background and driving record!*****
Also must have a compassionate, non-judgemental disposition and a heart for individuals who’ve experienced both acute and complex trauma.
Must be reliable and must be able to work the posted schedule as it is non-negotiable.
