Job Summary

Works with the Executive Director to make the office a premier resource for all aspects of the organization in accordance with the core values, mission, and vision of Begin Anew. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Data Management – Manage reporting and maintenance for Salesforce and Donor Perfect databases. 
  • Administrative support – Perform complex administrative duties, including coordinating resources across corporate functions. Create and maintain presentations and spreadsheets. Compose correspondence with internal and external contacts. Assist the Executive Director, Program Director, and Development and Communications Director as needed. 
  • Marketing Management – Maintain the organization’s social media posts (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube) using editing programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Spark. Create marketing graphics for events and social media use.  
  • Project Management – Lead multiple projects simultaneously for the Executive Director, Development Director, and Program Director. This requires exceptional organizational and time-management skills. Develop office processes to streamline workflow and organization awareness. 
  • Event Coordinating – Plan functions as requested, including negotiation with outside vendors for services. This includes coordinating bi-annual student graduations, fundraisers, board meetings, and site visits. 
  • Communications – Expert-level oral and written communication skills. Able to communicate with organization directions and peers. Interact professionally with clients, board members, vendors, and visitors.  
  • Time Management – Conserve the Executive Director’s time by reading, researching, routing correspondence, and scheduling meetings. This includes collecting and analyzing information and initiating phone calls when necessary. Able to multi-task and meet challenging deadlines.  
  • Office Maintenance – Order office supplies, update organization manuals, process mail, and donations daily, and manage the organization’s main phone line.  
  • Perform other duties assigned.  
  • Accepting and able to communicate with individuals of varied cultures and socio-economic groups (Often serves as the first point of contact for new students) 
  • Adhere to the confidentiality policy of Begin Anew. 
  • Passion for sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ and a willingness to sign Begin Anew’s Statement of Faith. 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree with 1-3 years of relevant work experience. Non-profit experience preferred. Excel, Salesforce, Donor Perfect, and Adobe experience preferred, but not required.

  • In addition, the office will be closed from December 26th through December 31st to allow employees time off with their families. Holidays that fall on weekends may be observed the previous Friday or the following Monday. 
  • Each full-time employee is given twenty-two (22) days of paid time off each year starting January 1. New hires will be granted prorated PTO based on their start date and recorded in their job offer. 
  • 401K available at the employee’s expense through Guidestone 
  • Monthly additional pay of $125 toward health insurance
