Job Summary
Position is full time days with benefits.
Answer phones, greet the general public and assist with administrative projects related to board activities, communications, events and development.
Job Responsibilities
- Reception and general office duties:
- Greet visitors to the office;
- Answer telephone, route calls as appropriate.
- Send and receive mail
- Office supply orders
- Supervise office volunteers on a regular basis.
- Refer callers to Regional Coordinators and/or local affiliate leaders
- Enter data, prepare reports:
a. Membership data – update NAMI 360 membership database
b. Create reports
c. Solicit membership renewal by mail/e-mail
3. Events and sponsorships
a. Update sponsor prospect list
b. Manage solicitation process
c. Track payment status, submission of logos, attendees, and other data as needed
4. Support fundraising activities
- Enter donations into donor database (Kindful)
- Generate thank you letters.
- Prepare mailings
- Provide support for development activities including gala and NAMIWalks
- Participate in fundraising planning and oversight activities
- Process and record payments
4. State Convention
a. Track and report exhibitor, sponsor, hotel and registration data
b. Act as point of contact for exhibitors
c. Make convention folders, name tags (including ribbons)
d. Pack and make accommodations for all equipment needed
e. Act as liaison with hotel staff regarding lodging and any other concerns that arise.
6. Publications:
a. Suggest website updates
b. Assist with E-News creation and contact list maintenance
c. Send materials to community as needed
7. Board support
a. Assist with agenda development and meeting planning
b. Send meeting notices
c. Forward board materials to board members and maintain on shared drive
8. Other duties as required.

Qualifications
Report to: Executive Director
Qualifications: Education or experience in business management, non-profit preferred. Strong interest in mental health. Dependable, organized, self-starter, team player, excellent written and oral communication skills; Microsoft Office proficient, pleasant telephone manner.
