Job Summary

The Office Coordinator/Bookkeeper handles the daily finance work of the Tennessee office of Nurses for Newborns and is responsible for various administrative functions and support to the other staff.

Job Responsibilities

On the financial side, this includes assisting with annual budget development, monitoring of cash flow, coding invoices, and payment of expenses. This individual will also be performing various administrative duties, including but not limited to, greeting visitors, managing facility needs, maintaining IT inventory, ordering supplies, and assisting other staff with meeting setup and events.

Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in accounting or Finance
  • 1-3 years accounting experience required
  • Knowledge of general ledger accounting and budgeting
  • Experience in using accounting software with functional modules of A/P, A/R, and G/L
  • Experience with computer hardware and software
  • High level of analytical ability and problem solving skills
  • Skills in excellent customer service, both internal and external
  • Effective verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and handle conflicting priorities and deadlines appropriately
  • Skills in utilizing email and Word at a basic level, Excel and data entry at an intermediate level
  • Ability to move objects up to 25 pounds
