Job Summary
Assists Nursing staff and Rec Therapists in providing care for and assistance with activities of daily living for the children enrolled in the Equip and Skilled Nursing programs.
Job Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assists Nurses with diaper changes, toileting, positioning of patients and vital signs.
- Assists with patient feedings.
- Assists Rec Therapists with daily activities.
- Assists the Food Specialist with meal and snack prep as well as kitchen clean up.
- Cleans work area and equipment as assigned and as needed throughout the work day.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); related experience and/or training in a CNA/CNT program preferred.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software and web-based applications such as electronic medical records.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
CNA/CNT license, CPR certification required.
