Job Summary
The Part-time position is located out of our Houston/Stewart County Courts. This Position involves the supervision and monitoring of misdemeanor probationers. Activities associated with this position include direct supervision through office visits and establishing needed supportive services, maintaining the documentation necessary to comply with program policies and procedures. E.O.E.
Salary Range $14-$16 hr. depending on experience.
Job Responsibilities
Additional activities include providing testimony in court, assisting with electronic monitoring, collection of fees, and maintaining case management database. This position may also be required to teach group and individual rehabilitative services to participants within these Counties. Job responsibilities require experience in case management, phycology background and treatment services, law enforcement, or related field.
Qualifications
- Graduation with a minimum of an Associate’s Degree and 2 years related work experience. Four year degree preferred in Criminal Justice, Social/Behavioral Sciences, or closely related field. Four years work experience will be considered if it is in a related field.
- Experience in criminal court proceedings and working with offenders; ability to follow program procedures and make appropriate decisions.
- Strong interpersonal, decision making, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain detailed and confidential information.
- Preference given to residents of these counties.
