Job Summary
The Membership Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of the organization’s membership database. Duties include identifying prospective members, processing membership applications/renewals and payments, processing conference registrations, mailing invoices, preparing deposits, and assisting with onsite logistics of Academy events. This is a part-time position averaging 20 hours per week.
Job Responsibilities
The job responsibilities include:
Keeping membership database up to date
Processing membership applications and renewals
Processing conference registrations
Providing assistance to members and conference attendees navigating the membership software
Preparing deposits
Preparing financial reports for online payments
Providing administrative support to Executive Director
Attending TAPA events and providing logistical support
Qualifications
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Effective writing skills
Strong organization and time management skills
Attention to detail
Proficient computer skills
Able to travel for periodic local and state-wide meetings requiring overnight stays for which reimbursement of expenses is offered
Able to attend periodic evening and weekend meetings
Space for a home office with internet connectivity as employees work remotely
Able to pass background check
