Job Summary
Part-time position stationed at the Lebanon Meals-On-Wheels site. Candidate must be able to follow instructions, document work performed, be self-motivated, and have a reliable source of transportation. Approximately 15-18 hours per week. Anticipated hours Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 8am-1pm.
Job Responsibilities
Duties to be performed include packing and serving meals, ensuring the cleanliness of the site, completing reports and other documentation, recruiting volunteers, ability to generate awareness and excitement in the community about the program to help in fundraising, daily paperwork, and outreach to the senior community. Other responsibilities include monitoring food temperature, completing in-home assessments, and participating in special events and functions. When necessary the applicant may deliver meals to homebound clients.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED; clean background, driver’s license, reliable transportation, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task & prioritize job related activities, accuracy and attention to detail. Basic computer skills required and an interest in working with older adults.
