Job Summary
St. Paul Christian Academy in Nashville seeks a long-term substitute teacher to cover a maternity leave in a 3rd-grade classroom. This position will last from approximately November 1, 2021 – January 24, 2022. A bachelor’s degree is required and classroom experience in an elementary or middle school is preferred.
Job Responsibilities
Additional duties include but may not be limited to:
1. Execute lesson plans that were created by the 3rd-grade team.
2. Monitor students’ daily progress.
3. Effectively manage a classroom and build relationships with students.
4. Manage daily communication with parents.
5. Collaborate with grade-level team and Upper School Division Head.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Education or related discipline and teaching experience in an elementary or middle school is preferred.
