Job Summary

The Database Specialist & Development Coordinator is an integral member of the marketing and development team.  Primary responsibilities:  manage the donor database, gift entry and acknowledgement; coordinate fundraising campaigns, events and meetings; grant writing, editing and reporting. The ideal candidate is organized, flexible, and has a positive attitude.   

Job Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively across all marketing and development team efforts
  • Maintain database integrity to ensure accurate, timely, and personalized donor communications
  • Provide reports, process invoices and credit card receipts
  • Coordinate all aspects of solicitations/events/meetings
  • Work with program managers on all aspects of grant submission and reporting
  • Discover and implement process improvements

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
  • Proven expertise in managing databases required; fundraising database preferred
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, Constant Contact, Donor Perfect (or similar database)
  • Familiarity with social media outlets
